The saree is a rich red color,made from  khaddi georgette fabric, which provides a beautiful drape and textured feel.  It is a traditional piece,  in  Bandhani style, featuring woven checks and bandhej (tie-dye dot) patterns. 
The borders and body are heavily adorned with elaborate hand embroidery, which  include gotapatti, zardozi, stones, or cutdanas with small mirror-like embellishments Prominent motifs include detailed gold elephant figures and traditional patterns integrated into the weaving and embroidery.
